The Board of the Phoenix-Talent School District 4 has passed a moratorium on the use of glyphosate and 2-4D, and a policy that prioritizes organic pesticides as a last resort.

The School Board responded to the concerns of parents as well as the strong scientific record about the danger of low-level pesticide exposures in children. No longer should our children be exposed to cancer-causing and hormone disrupting pesticides on school playgrounds and sports fields.
